The journal Vremennik Pushkinskoy komissii is an open access publication. The journal does not charge authors for publication and distribution, reviewing, editing of materials. The journal does not pay royalties to authors of articles for their publication.

The open access policy of the journal is developed in accordance with the definition of open access formulated in the Budapest Initiative of BOAI: all content of the journal is open on the Internet for reading, downloading, replicating, any user can search or link to the full texts of articles. The journal Vremennik Pushkinskoy komissii provides open access to its content based on the fact that the free dissemination of research contributes to a wider exchange of knowledge at the global level.

The articles of the journal Vremennik Pushkinskoy komissiya are published under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC-BY 4.0) (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/). This means that users may copy and distribute the work in any medium or format, adapt and transform texts, use the content for any purposes, including commercial ones. Doing this, they are required to respect the terms of use by indicating the name of the author of the original work as well as the source. The users should indicate the journal’s publishing data, provide a link to the source, and point at any changes made. This in no way implies that the licensor (the Editorial Board) endorses you or the way you are using the data.

The journal does not charge authors for reviewing, editing, publishing, and distributing the published article.

Copyright

The editorial board of the journal Vremennik Pushkinskoy komissiya does not accept texts that are under consideration in another journal. Authors must guarantee that they have not published significant results of their research in any other scientific publication. The only exception concerns translations of articles into foreign languages: translations into Russian from other foreign languages of articles already published or prepared for publication are permitted.

In the case of collective authorship, each author guarantees that the co-authors have approved the final version of the article and agreed to its submission for publication. Authors of articles are independently responsible for obtaining permission to publish illustrative materials.

After the publication of an article in the journal Vremennik Pushkinskoy komissii, the authors retain the right to:

use printed or electronic copies of the article for scientific or educational purposes, including distributing the article among students and colleagues to promote scientific research, for informational purposes, posting the article on a personal page, both on a personal website and on the website of the organization where the author works;

use individual materials from the published article in the preparation of other publications, including books, educational and teaching publications;
duplicate the article for their own research purposes, even commercially.

By submitting an article for publication in the journal Vremennik Pushkinskoy komissii, the authors agree to transfer the following rights to the publisher of the journal:

the right to reproduce the article or its individual part in any material form, including on paper and electronic media as a separate work, as part of the journal(s) and/or in the databases of the publisher and/or other persons, at the discretion of the publisher;

the right to distribute the article or its individual part on any medium as a separate work, as part of the journal(s) and/or in the databases of the publisher or other persons, at the discretion of the publisher and/or the founders of the journal;

the right to bring the article or its individual part to the attention of the public with the possibility for any person to access the article from any place and at any time of their choice (including via the Internet).

The selection of materials for publication in the journal is not influenced by any political, commercial or any other non-scientific factors; the only selection criterion is the scientific quality of the submitted materials.

Editors’ Commitments Regarding Conflicts of Interest

A conflict of interest arises when an author, reviewer, or editor has financial or personal relationships that interfere with an impartial assessment, review, or decision to publish research results (dual commitments, competing interests, or beliefs). Interests may be financial or personal. A conflict of interest arises in a relationship with an organization or another person.

The journal Vremennik Pushkinskoy komissii does not require a formal declaration of conflict of interest. However, it is assumed that when submitting an article to the editorial board of the journal, the author declares that:

all sources of funding for the study are indicated in the text of the article;
there are no commercial, financial, personal, or professional factors that could create a conflict of interest with respect to the article submitted for consideration.

Otherwise, the author must make an explicit declaration of a possible conflict of interest in the text of the cover letter when submitting the article to the editorial board. In addition, if there is a conflict of interest, the author may ask to exclude.
