The peer-reviewed scientific journal Texts and History (Slovesnost’ i Istoriia) accepts for publication original, previously unpublished and not under consideration in the other scientific journals researches. All materials submitted to the editorial office undergo preliminary preparation and are sent for peer review to reviewers. The time for consideration of received materials is no more than 4 months.
The journal adopted a double-blind peer review system, which consists of several stages:
1) preliminary assessment of the submitted scientific article by the editor-in-chief or the editor of the issue; preparation of the article for sending to reviewers;
2) peer review by members of the editorial board and invited experts working in a field close to the topic of the reviewed article (anonymous, at least two reviewers);
3) consideration of the issue of publication at a meeting of the editorial board.
The editorial board of the journal Texts and History sends the summaries of received reviews or a reasoned refusal to the authors of the submitted materials.
