Резюме
«Житие св. Августина» Поссидия Каламского открывает собой «Книгу св. Августина» — никогда не издававшийся памятник латинского влияния в русской литературе первой половины XVI в. Оно публикуется впервые, по основному списку около 1692 г. Евфимия Чудовского, восходящему к сборнику князя Андрея Курбского 1563-1564 гг. Разночтения приводятся по двум старообрядческим рукописям 10-х и 20-х гг. XVIII в.

THE LIFE OF SAINT AUGUSTINE BY POSSIDIUS OF CALAMA IN THE SLAVIC-RUSSIAN TRANSLATION FROM THE FIRST HALF OF THE SIXTEENTH CENTURY

Abstract
This article introduces the first publication of the Slavic-Russian translation of the Life of Saint Augustine by Possidius of Calama, which appears in the opening of the Book of Saint Augustine. The appearance of this translation reflects the Latin influence on Russian literature that can be observed in the first half of the 16th century. The article includes the publication of the Life of Saint Augustine based on the main manuscript copy of the Book of Saint Augustine, which was produced by Evfimii Chudovskii around 1692. This copy derives from a manuscript miscellany that belonged to Prince Andrei Kurbskii in 1563-1564. The publication of this manuscript includes variant readings from two Old Believer manuscripts that date from the 1710s and 1720s.
