Рассматриваемый в статье синодальный документ 1746 г. о трех епископах Пермских XV в. (Российский государственный исторический архив, фонд 796 — Канцелярия Синода, опись 25, № 723) возник в результате указов Елизаветы Петровны от 7 декабря 1744 г. и Святейшего Синода от 12 декабря 1744 г. о разыскании сведений о мощах несвидетельствованных святых в Российской империи. В нем отражена сложившаяся к тому времени на Усть-Выми практика почитания чудотворных мощей епископов Пермских XV в., несмотря на отсутствие у местного духовенства письменных источников о епископах Герасиме, Питириме и Ионе.
Выявлены текстуальные и фактические взаимосвязи синодального документа 1746 г. с другими текстами о Пермской епархии: со «Скаской» 1745 г. о проведении расследования о мощах трех пермских епископов, а также с «Изъявлением» о епископах Пермских и с «Чудесами» от гробницы с мощами трех святителей в Усть-Выми. Создание «Изъявления» и «Чудес» атрибутируется усть-вымскому священнику Благовещенской церкви Евтихию Петухову, составителю Челобитной 1717 г. в Вологодскую духовную консисторию с запросом сведений о пермских епископах.
Статья сопровождается публикацией синодального документа 1746 г. о трех пермских епископах XV в.

Materials for the History of the Veneration of the Three Fifteenth-Century Bishops of Perm — Gerasim, Pitirim and Iona

This is a study of a document that dates from the year 1746 and contains information about the three fifteenth-century bishops of Perm — Gerasim, Pitirim and Iona. The document is preserved in the Archive of the Office of the Synod of the Russian Church. It was produced in response to the decrees that were issued by Empress Elizabeth of Russia and by the Holy Synod of the Russian Church in 1744. The decrees demanded that the local Church authorities throughout Russian Empire inquire about the venerated relics of persons who were not recognized by the Church as saints. The document reflects the practice of popular veneration of the three bishops’ relics, which had developed in the Ust-Vym’ region by that time despite the lack of written sources about them. The article reveals textual and factual  connections of this 1746 document with several earlier texts. One of them presents the results of an investigation of the relics of the three Perm bishops that was carried out in 1745. The other two texts provide information about the bishops and the miracles that were recorded at their tomb. The author of the article attributes these two texts to Evtikhii Petukhov, a priest of the Annunciation Church in Ust-Vym’. In 1717 he requested information about the Perm bishops from the Vologda Consistory. A publication of the 1746 document about the three fifteenth-century Perm bishops accompanies the article.
